Travel to Hungary

April 14, 2026

March provided an important opportunity for UADS as I travelled to ABZ Innovations’ headquarters in Hungary for a week of advanced training. While the focus was on completing expert certifications, the real value came from spending time with ABZ’s engineers, technicians, and operational specialists — the people who know these platforms inside out.

Over five days, I completed:

  • C‑Series Expert Training, including high‑pressure cleaning operations, nozzle systems, safety workflows, and mission automation
  • L‑Series Expert Training, covering precision spraying, CDA droplet control, RTK‑based navigation, and LiDAR‑assisted obstacle avoidance
  • Service & Maintenance Certification, ensuring we can support these platforms locally with real‑time diagnostics and preventative maintenance

In the field, I had the chance to run full agricultural spraying missions with the L50 and test the C10’s high‑pressure cleaning capability on complex structures. This hands‑on work demonstrated the strength of ABZ’s engineering and confirmed the suitability of these platforms for Australian conditions.

This training marks a major step in preparing UADS to deliver safe, efficient, and technically robust drone services across agriculture and commercial cleaning.

The trip home was also eventful as you can see from the notifications I was receiving while in transit at Dubai Airport.
